First day in Switzerland after arrival of »The Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine« was a holiday for the orchestra. We planned to have a day off before the first concert to have some space for unexpected happenings as like in our case organizing 2 Timbanies in due time. Therefore Alstar started searching for instruments and the orchestra started an excursion to Rhine Falls.

»The Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine« meets at the coaches and is just ready for the excursion.

Rhine Falls
The excursion of Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, the biggest water falls in Europe, was for the orchestra members a new attraction and they was surprised about the tremendous water flow of approximately 700’000 liter per second.

Visiting impressive Rhine Falls, boat cruise to the Rock , tranquillity and pleasure.

One of ESPERIA’s aim of this concert tour was bridge building East-West and for this it was important not only to let the orchestra play but also to transmit some impressions of Switzerland beside the concert halls.
